RepoDock is designed as a local desktop app. Your project files stay on your computer, and RepoDock does not upload your source code to RepoDock servers.
Information used by the app
The desktop app stores local settings such as added project folders, connected repository URLs, and app preferences in your local user app-data folder.
RepoDock may read Git metadata, file names, branch names, repository URLs, and warning signals from folders you add to the app so it can show project status. This information is used locally unless a feature clearly requires an online request.
Payments and licenses
Paid checkout is handled by Stripe. License activation sends the license key, a generated device identifier, and a device name to RepoDock's license server. Activation records include activation and last-seen timestamps so device limits can be enforced.
Stripe may process payment details, billing information, receipts, tax information, fraud checks, and related checkout data according to Stripe's own policies.
RepoDock stores license records such as the generated license key, purchase email, Stripe checkout identifiers, license status, activation limit, and activation history. License recovery requests may include the purchase email, receipt information, approximate purchase date, and support correspondence used to verify the request.
Support email
Messages sent to support@repodock.dev may be forwarded by the domain email provider to a private support inbox. The sender sees the RepoDock support address on the website; support messages and replies are handled through the configured email providers and their privacy practices.
Third-party services
RepoDock uses Git and GitHub CLI on your machine. GitHub account authentication is handled by GitHub CLI, not by RepoDock.
The website is hosted on Vercel, and license records are stored using Neon/Postgres. Hosting and service providers may process technical request information such as IP addresses and request logs to operate their services. RepoDock does not receive your full payment-card details from Stripe.
Website preferences and online requests
The website stores your chosen light or dark theme in your browser's local storage. The desktop app requests the public version manifest when checking for updates. Guided setup contacts Windows Package Manager or the official Git and GitHub CLI release services to download missing tools. GitHub actions contact GitHub through Git and GitHub CLI.
Backups and exports
If you export a RepoDock backup, that file is created for you to store. It may include local project paths and connected repository URLs, so treat it as private. Dashboard backups exclude your license key and device identifier and do not contain your project source files.
Contact
You may contact us to request access to, correction of, or deletion of personal information held in license or support records. Some information may need to be retained for payment records, disputes, or legal obligations. Removing the desktop app alone does not delete online purchase or activation records.
